Andrew is the founder of Global Engineering. A tool maker by trade, he is a practical person who has an excellent knowledge of engineering principles and processes. Andrew’s role in the company has always been directing. In the early days, from the company’s conception in 1994, it was directing people on the shop floor; now it’s guiding the growth & development of the company, working with what he describes as “an amazingly talented and hardworking team” of over 40 people. Outside of work Andrew enjoys spending time with family and friends, fishing, motorcycles and working with timber because it’s a nice contrast to steelwork.
Will has been involved with structural steel around the world with over 20 years experience, helping to deliver a variety of projects including, stadiums and other complex structures. Blair has progressed through the business learning all aspects of our operations. He has been internally promoted to his current role, and although young in years, his ability to get steel out the door within stringent QA procedures is second to none! He is always on top of all current and upcoming jobs, making sure he knows what steel we have and what we need so that the team is never left short. Outside of work Blair enjoys playing competitive darts for West City Dart Club.
Josh directs and supervises the metalwork team, making sure everything runs smoothly and the product gets out on time. Experienced in the finer more detailed work that we do, he is diligent when it comes to quality steel manufacturing. He is crazy about his cars and 4x4, so just as well we have a great workshop here for him to use in his spare time.
